Work Experience
brief history/
summary
summary
After graduating from Parsons School of Design in 1989 I worked at
the editorial design and development studio, WBMG, with principals
Walter Bernard and Milton Glaser until 1993. From there I went on to
art director positions at several magazines including GQ, Art & Antiques, Time and Newsweek. I left magazine design and turned
to designing and art directing books for Workman Publishing primarily,
until I left New York for the position of art director of Tin House in
Portland, Oregon, which I held from March of 2009 until August of 2012.
In 2001 I taught an advanced graphic design class at Parsons School of Design.
